Splitty is a fast and friendly way to split bill and keep track of shared bills. Served as a digital wallet and online transactions, Splitty enables users to make contactless payment with friends and families.
Dividing the bill after a group meal can be an unsettling experience.
Money can be a touchy subject, and people don’t always react well when prompted for their contribution towards a bill. Splitting bills can be a source of conflict among friends.
How might we make sure everyone has contributed to their share and make splitting bills a hassle-free and friendly way for everyone?
I have surveyed 15 people and did a qualitative and quantitative research regarding splitting bills in a large group, to help me better understand my user needs and pain points.

With all the research and conclusions in mind, I started with some rough sketches on paper,
and then brought the final ideations to life in Figma.

A hassle-free app that allows users to feel secure with their money as well as to prevent any misunderstandings among their friends when it comes to splitting bill
1. Create a group for friends
2. Scan your receipt/ cheque for the app to generate the items and bills digitally
2. Drag and drop friends to the items respectively to split bill
3. Send request to friends to pay you back

The app will auto send a friendly reminder to people who have not paid in the group, if not users are also allowed to send reminders to their friends as well.

Keeping track of transactions, people who owe you money and vice versa. Users can also pay and remind people on the spot before they forget.
